The Fitout Project

Cameron Barclay completed the refurbishment of new offices in Aldersgate for this rapidly growing consultancy. Green Hat’s workforce is predominantly young and creative and they wanted this to be reflected by the interior of their new premises.

A large kitchen and rest area, plus a boardroom, several meeting rooms and a new communications room was required, together with a complete Cat5 rewire. The refit also included air-conditioning, lighting, furniture and decoration.

Additionally, the staff wanted the opportunity to cycle into work, so a shower facility and an innovative bike storage room was incorporated within the office on the 1st floor. This may, possibly, the first of its kind in London!

"Having gone through the process of trying to negotiate new office space that had fallen through at the last minute, when the Aldersgate opportunity came up time was against us: we were already bursting out of our managed office accommodation.

We had never undertaken a project like this before, but Cameron Barclay made the whole process very smooth. They took the time to understand what we were trying to achieve and liaised with the landlord, planning authorities and HSE while designing the interior. They introduced ideas and products into the mix that eventually contributed to the overall success of the project.
