The Cameron Barclay Consultancy was established in 1996.

We are certified by the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC) and part of their approved contractor scheme. NICEIC certify contractors undertaking design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of electrical installations to BS 7671. We are also an accredited member of the Contractors’ Health and Safety Scheme (CHAS). See www.chas.gov.uk/. CHAS:

• Assesses applicants’ Health and Safety Policy Statement
• Reviews their organisation with regards to health and safety
• Ensures that contractors’ specific health and safety arrangements are of a standard acceptable to their, and others’, buyers

All of our site management staff are registered with the Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS).

Most of our contractors are also registered with either the:

• Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) or
• The Electrotechnical Certification Scheme Health and Safety Assessment (ECS) Card Schemes

Cameron Barclay is a member of HMRC’s Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) and is a CITB levy payer.
