Principal recently celebrated its 21st Birthday; something rare by today's standards.

In 1987 the company was initially formed as a photocopier reseller; today it employs in excess of 100 dynamic, motivated and skilled people has a turnover approaching £17 Million and its business portfolio includes Information Technology, Office Systems including Copiers and Multifunctional Devices, Office Design and Refit, Stationery, Printing and Office Supplies and Industrial Electrical and Data Cabling Services.

Principal's partnerships and accreditations extend across all of its business activities and these include Microsoft (Gold Partner), Konica Minolta, HP (Preferred Partner), NICEIC, Canon, Cisco, Borderware, Invu (Centre of Excellence), Formic (Centre of Excellence) and VMWare.

Position: IT Support Technician

Responsibilities will include:

Provide general PC support to internal users
Maintain backups of all data critical systems
Document existing system architectures and specifications and ongoing changes
Train new staff on IT procedures and practices
Maintain a database of internal IT equipment and software
Maintain a system logging internal calls

Professional Experience:

You will ideally have or be studying towards Microsoft Certified Professional
You should possess at least two year's experience of working in IT with experience of MS Windows networks

Location:

The role is substantially based at our offices in Horsham, but you should be willing to travel to our other offices within the South East of the UK

Personal:

The candidate will be required to work on his/her own initiative and as part of a team. You will have a 'can do' attitude as the role calls for flexibility and commitment; you must be able to work well under pressure. You will be able to prioritise workloads and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, at all times.
